🇱🇰 Sri Lanka takes its 2026 Licensing Round to the global upstream industry.
The World Energies Summit in London marked the opening of the Sri Lanka Licensing Round 2026 International 𝗦𝗿𝗶 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗮 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄, bringing the Mannar Basin opportunity directly to international investors, explorers and technical specialists.
The programme featured:
🎤 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗿. 𝗡𝗲𝗶𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗮, 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹, 𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗦𝗟, officially opening the London Investor Roadshow and setting out Sri Lanka’s offshore opportunity.
🔬 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, giving delegates the opportunity to hear directly from the Petroleum Development Authority of Sri Lanka (PDASL) team on the 𝗴𝗲𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 supporting SL2026-01.
With 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝟯𝟰,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗸𝗺𝟮, the London engagement provided an important platform for international companies to understand the opportunity, ask questions and engage directly with the team behind the Licensing Round.
